Colorado’s annual day of philanthropy surpassed all previous records when 123,999 donations were made to 1,884 Colorado-based non-profit organizations – and donations totaled $28,416,306, exceeding last year’s total giving by $2.1 million.
Thanks to many generous friends of Scholars Unlimited, our organization also saw an increase, with just under $40,000 contributed to our organization. That total will be boosted by our share of the Colorado Gives Incentive Fund, made possible by First Bank and the Community First Foundation. The $1 million incentive fund will be distributed proportionally to all organizations receiving gifts on Colorado Gives Day.
While December 8th was this year’s official day of philanthropy in Colorado, you can make gifts to Scholars Unlimited via the coloradogives.org website the other 364 days of the year. Just click here: https://www.coloradogives.org/scholarsunlimited/overview
We extend our thanks to everyone who participated in Colorado Gives Day! By supporting your favorite non-profit organizations – including Scholars Unlimited – you have assisted a vital part of our statewide community that makes Colorado a better place to live, work, learn and play and demonstrated the collective impact of philanthropy.
