Colorado Child Care Tax Credit

Gifts to Scholars Unlimited qualify for the Colorado Child Care Tax Credit (CCCTC), a state tax credit available to both individual and corporate Colorado taxpayers that reduces their Colorado state income tax liability by providing a 50 percent tax credit for cash contributions.

Three Key Elements

Literacy

Literacy is at the heart of our work, and is the foundation for academic success. Representation matters and we enhance our curriculum by developing it to be culturally responsive and relevant for our students, over 80% of which are students of color.

We incorporate books by authors of color and with heroes and heroines of color.

STEM

(science, technology, engineering, and mathematics)
Each day scholars enjoy maker space time where they can use their imaginations to create and design what they wish. During the summer, our scholars took part in Next Generation City Builders (NGCB) which opens doors and creates opportunities for our future workforce by introducing our scholars to STEM-related careers.

Social Emotional Learning (SEL)

Connection is a key element in learning. We support our scholars’ social emotional learning growth. We help our scholars develop pro-social skills – including positive communication, persistence, self-control, and emotional regulation. We strive to connect scholars with the skills that cultivate confidence, and the space for them to find their voice.
