This signature event is dedicated to celebrating our scholars, and coming together as a community to build on the strong foundation of Scholars Unlimited’s work.

Your support at every level has an immediate impact and helps elevate our work!

Scholars Unlimited provides comprehensive out-of-school-time programs for students at no cost to families. These fun and engaging programs support the development of the whole child by providing intensive literacy intervention, enrichment activities, recreational opportunities, and positive youth development practices that support social-emotional learning

Colorado Child Care Tax Credit

Gifts to Scholars Unlimited qualify for the Colorado Child Care Tax Credit (CCCTC), a state tax credit available to both individual and corporate Colorado taxpayers that reduces their Colorado state income tax liability by providing a 50% tax credit for cash contributions.

Three Key Elements

Literacy

Literacy is at the heart of the work we do, and is the foundation for academic success. Representation matters and we’ve enhanced our curriculum by developing it to be culturally responsive and relevant for our students, 91% of which are students of color. This means incorporating more books by authors of color and with heroes and heroines of color.

Social Emotional Learning (SEL)

Connection is a key element in learning. Our work supports our scholars’ social emotional learning growth. We are committed to helping our scholars develop pro-social skills – including positive communication, persistence, self-control, and emotional regulation — that will support their ongoing success in school, and in life. We strive to connect scholars with the skills that cultivate confidence, and the space for them to find their voice.

STEM

STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) is incorporated throughout our programs. Our scholars participate in Maker Space during Scholars After School, and it enables our scholars to build connections and interact with peers which are vital components of social-emotional learning. In our Summer Scholars program, we intergate a STEM focused rotation.
